With the introduction of the LiteGear series, Dual-Lite, a Hubbell Lighting, Inc. brand, expands its central lighting inverter product offering.
Featuring a 100 watt load rating, this compact, economical interruptible power supply provides emergency AC power for lighting fixtures equipped with incandescent, fluorescent or LED lamps. The fixtures may be mounted up to 1,000 feet away from the unit. Mounted indoors, the LiteGear unit will supply emergency AC power to indoor or outdoor fixtures. Typical indoor applications include task and convenience lighting, hallway illumination and stairway lighting designated as “emergency fixtures”. Outdoor applications include wall packs, canopy ceiling fixtures or perimeter landscape lighting. The LiteGear unit will operate lighting fixtures that are normally on, normally off or switched. Typical installations include restaurants, theaters, auditoriums, schools, universities, shopping centers, office and municipal buildings and much more.
Two available models meet most installation requirements: LG1S, wall surface mounting and LG1T, recessed ceiling T-Grid mounting. The wall surface mounting unit has a universal electrical box KO pattern and includes “keyhole” slots for attaching the enclosure to the finished wall surface; the recessed ceiling unit occupies a 2-foot T-Grid ceiling opening and includes eyelets for cable suspension to the building’s structural members.

- Automatic transfer (in 2 seconds or less) to emergency inverter operation
- Automatic restart following the restoration of the normal AC power supply
- Maintenance-free, non-spillable batteries
- "Brownout" protection
- Low voltage battery disconnect
- Fused overload and short circuit protection
- UL listed to Standard 924 (Emergency Lighting)
